Dufferin Child and Family Services provides support and help for families and children in the community. Including those with special needs and early years resources.

We are licensed by the Ministry of Education. With their support we ensure quality child care options are available to families in our communities.

Raising the Bar is a community initiative to promote and support early childhood educators in their continuous commitment to excellence in early learning and child care programs. The program provides a framework for best practice to guide early learning, child care operators, and EarlyON child and family centres in delivering high quality services for children and families.

The Home Child Care Association of Ontario (HCCAO) represents more than 70 licensed Home Child Care Agencies which provide licensed, home-based early learning and child care in over 3,000 homes across Ontario. The HCCAO membership is committed to the well-being of children and has a strong interest in contributing to the dialogue about how child care programs for children are organized, delivered and regulated throughout the province.
Dufferin County delivers a wide range of programs, resources, and services to support early childhood development and child care in the community. This includes support for parents and child care fee subsidy

Ontario Coalition for Better Child Care is Ontario’s central advocacy group for a universal early childhood education and care system. They advocate for: low fees or no fees for parents; decent work and pay for educators; and an expansion of public and non-profit services.
